The CASA Program (Court Appointed Special Advocates) known as PARACHUTE in Butler County has been an integral component of the Butler County Juvenile Court's commitment to provide abused and neglected children with safe and stable homes since 1988.  CASA has continued to be acknowledged by many juvenile court judges for providing invaluable service in meeting the special needs of children who are the subject of court proceedings involving abused and neglected children.  The CASA volunteers are able to provide individual attention to the children involved in these important cases.

In my role as a Juvenile Court Judge, I rely on these trained volunteer advocates who speak on behalf of the children, to assist the Court in making decisions which are in the best interest of these children.  PARACHUTE volunteers provide quality advocacy services for these children by representing the child's wishes and needs, conducting independent investigations, and fully participating in al hearings involving children.  PARACHUTE is an extremely effective tool which is utilized on a daily basis by this Court to attain its commitment to provide these children with safe and stable homes.

If you are willing to donate your personal time and are interested in helping these special youth in our county, I strongly encourage you to contact the PARACHUTE office and become a vital part of this wonderful program.
